6 Useful Things Most Renters Forget to Bring When Moving In

It is undeniable that moving into your new home is stressful. Of course, talking about packing and unpacking can be a hassle thing to do, especially when you have a lot of things for your home use. Even if you rent an Davao apartments or any other apartments in the Philippines, you will always have to arrange things. And no matter how prepared you are, there will always be some things that you will most likely forget to buy. And what's more ironic? Most renters forget the useful and important ones than those things that are not.

Well, to give you an idea on what things most renters tend to forget whenever they move in, below are some of the important things that you should never forget for your home use.

1. First-aid kit

This is one of the most important things you should never forget whenever you move in. In any case, you made a cut while unpacking your stuff; it is easier for you to attend to your wound since you have the first-aid kit. It is going to be to your advantage, and it comes in handy. Of course, you should also not forget to have the necessary things or tools for your use.

2. Flashlight

Flashlights are going to be useful when it comes to brown outs. You don't want to stumble on the things you have at home since it is dark, right? Moreover, make sure that your flashlight is still working. Check the batteries whether if it is still ok or not. Well, if not, then you better change it to a new one ahead of time, so when there is some power outage, your flashlight is ready to use.

3. Fire extinguisher

Well, we just hope that there will be no fire accidents in our apartment. But for any case, it is a must for you to have some fire extinguisher ready for any case of emergency. Of course, you also have to make sure that you know how to use it.

4. Plunger

This is one of the most common things most renters tend to forget to have at their apartment. Yes, a plunger may not be an appealing item to have in your home. But when in times when you need it, you will eventually realize how important and useful it is. Plungers are used specifically to unblock toilets and sinks, as the rubber flap folds out to fit snugly into the opening at the bottom of the bowl or sink and create suction.

Always remember when buying, there are two kinds of a plunger; the cup and flange. The cup plunger is useful when your sink in the kitchen is not working at all. While a flange plunger on-hand is used for the toilets.

5. Oven mitts

To those renters who have an oven at their apartment, you have to make sure that you also have with your oven mitts. Some of you might find these not useful since there are kitchen towels or any cloth they can use. But mind you, it will lead you to nasty burns on your skin. Oven mitts are useful especially when you are a kind of person who loves to bake and some other ways of cooking. You don't want to have burned, right?

6. Salt and pepper shakers

For some renters, salt and pepper shakers are not that important for them since they can use some plastics. However, if you are a kind of person who is sophisticated enough, you want to have this in your apartment. Of course, when you have these useful things for the kitchen use, it is easier for you to use your salt and pepper without wasting it.
